The RETALT Project is funded by the EU Commission H2020 program, and has as objective to study critical technologies for re-usable launch vehicles. Two reference launch vehicle configurations are defined: RETALT1 which is a two-stage to orbiter vehicle of which the first stage will be recovered, and RETALT2 which is single stage to orbiter launcher that is mainly used as technology test bed for future launch vehicles.
