re3data is an internationally recognized registry for research data repositories, which currently provides the most comprehensive list of repositories for research data.

In this Zenodo community, you will find materials created, published, posted or presented by re3data staff and related project staff. This collection of open access content is intended to help the research community find relevant resources about re3data and its activities.

re3data was established in 2012; this community was established in 2021 as part of the re3data COREF project, therefore it is not a comprehensive repository of all re3data-related resources.

This is the Zenodo re3data Community.

re3data is an internationally recognized registry for research data repositories, which currently lists more than 2700 repositories for research data across all scientific disciplines and provides an extensive description of repositories based on a detailed metadata schema. The service promotes open science practices and the visibility of science-driven open infrastructures. A variety of funders, publishers, and scientific organizations around the world refer to re3data within their guidelines and policies, recommending the service to researchers looking for appropriate repositories for storage and discovery of research data

Since January 2020, the re3data COREF project (Community Driven Open Reference for Research Data Repositories) receives funding from the German Research Foundation (DFG) to further develop and enhance the registry service.

This collection of open access materials is intended to help the research community find relevant resources about re3data and its activities.
