Shaping the digital future of catalysis

Catalysis and catalysis-related sciences enable the efficient production of a wide range of products for different industries and at different production  scales. NFDI4Cat is a community-driven and user-oriented initiative dedicated to enhancing digital research in all these fields. Comprising 16 expert partners, the team is committed to FAIR principles, ensuring data is Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable.

Key initiatives include the NFDI4Cat Central Repository for data storage, a Meta Portal for metadata access, and the development of common vocabularies and ontologies. The consortium also features an Industry Advisory Board, launched in 2021, to align its objectives with industrial needs.FDI4Cat's work is geared towards research-oriented development, meeting the data management needs of diverse specialists on a global scale.
