The Movement Journal accepts motion capture recordings (BVH, FBX) and video recordings (MP4, MOV) of dance and movement sequences from practitioners worldwide. Submissions are reviewed for three criteria: movement quality (intentional, skilled practice), uniqueness (contribution not already represented in the corpus), and technical adequacy (sufficient recording quality for computational processing). Submissions must include a title, brief description, and consent confirmation authorizing computational processing and archival inclusion. Text-only submissions, static images without movement content, and materials unrelated to dance or movement practice will be declined. Typical review time is four weeks.
