LEAF-2D introduces Laser Direct Transfer processes (Laser Induced Backward Transfer and Laser Induced Forward Transfer), as a novel nano-manufacturing platform for the deterministic and versatile transfer of pixels of a plethora of 2D materials onto a variety of different substrates with a defect- and chemical- free manner.
This technology will harness the unique properties of 2D materials aiming for a transformative breakthrough in a plurality of technological fields, including the embedding of NIR light sources on Si substrates and the demonstration of ultra-thin graphene-based touch sensors.
