All submissions made to the Indonesian Journal of Chemical Connections (IJCC) Zenodo Community are subject to curation by the community curator and/or the editorial team. The purpose of curation is to ensure that materials included in the community are relevant to the scope of the journal, comply with applicable repository and journal policies, meet basic standards of scholarly integrity, and are suitable for dissemination as part of the community’s scholarly record.

The curator and/or editorial team may review submissions for relevance, completeness of metadata, consistency of authorship and affiliation information, compliance with ethical and legal standards, and general suitability for inclusion in the community. As part of this process, submissions may be accepted, declined, reclassified, amended at the metadata level, returned for clarification, restricted, withdrawn, or removed, as deemed reasonably necessary for the proper administration, integrity, and lawful operation of the community.

Inclusion in this community is not automatic and remains subject to editorial and curatorial discretion. Acceptance into the community indicates that the submission is considered suitable for inclusion in the curated repository, but does not in itself guarantee acceptance for publication in the Indonesian Journal of Chemical Connections (IJCC). Any decision regarding journal publication remains subject to the journal’s independent editorial handling, peer review process, scope assessment, ethical evaluation, and other applicable publication requirements.

By uploading or submitting material to this community, the submitter is deemed to have agreed that any submission accepted into the community may be made publicly available on Zenodo as an open access record. Where relevant and appropriate, submission to this community shall also constitute the submitter’s prior acknowledgment and consent that, if the work is subsequently accepted through the applicable editorial and peer review processes of the journal, it may be published, displayed, indexed, distributed, and communicated by or through the Indonesian Journal of Chemical Connections (IJCC) without the need for any further separate approval, authorization, or reconfirmation from the submitter, insofar as such publication remains consistent with the applicable journal policies and licensing or rights framework governing the work.

The submitter bears sole responsibility for the legality, originality, authenticity, and ethical integrity of the submitted material, including the accuracy of all accompanying metadata, authorship information, affiliations, declarations, permissions, and supporting documentation. The submitter further represents that they possess the necessary rights and authority to upload the material and that the submission does not infringe the rights of any third party, violate confidentiality obligations, or breach applicable standards of publication ethics.

The curator and/or editorial team reserve the right to request corrections, clarifications, revisions, documentary support, or additional information where reasonably necessary to verify the status, integrity, authorship, or compliance of any submission. Failure to provide adequate clarification or documentation may result in rejection, restriction, withdrawal, or removal of the submission or record.

Submissions that are reasonably suspected of plagiarism, substantial textual appropriation, duplicate publication, unauthorized reuse, falsification, misrepresentation, authorship dispute, copyright infringement, or other forms of academic or legal misconduct may be rejected, restricted, withdrawn, or removed from the community at the discretion of the curator and/or editorial team, either pending review or following determination under applicable policies and ethical standards. In particular, where a submission is indicated or later found to contain plagiarism or related misconduct, the curator and/or editorial team reserve the right to withdraw or remove the relevant record from the community without prior publication approval or continued retention.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the curator, the editorial team, and any affiliated editorial personnel shall not be responsible or liable for the substance of materials submitted by contributors, nor for any loss, claim, dispute, infringement, misconduct, or damage arising from such submissions, including but not limited to plagiarism, copyright infringement, authorship disputes, unlawful content, or false or misleading statements. Responsibility for submitted content remains solely with the submitter. This limitation shall not prevent the curator and/or editorial team from taking administrative, editorial, or remedial action where necessary for the protection of the community, the journal, or the scholarly record.

The curator and/or editorial team retain continuing authority to interpret, apply, revise, supplement, and administer this curation policy, as well as the broader governance and management arrangements of the community, where reasonably necessary for the integrity, sustainability, legal compliance, ethical oversight, and overall benefit of the community and its scholarly function.
