HIFIS connects all 18 centers in the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centers.

It supports scientific projects with IT resources, cloud services, consulting, and expertise from the collection, storage, linking, and analysis of research data to the publication of the results. HIFIS also supports the development of well-designed research software and offers courses in topics relevant to data science.
