The PREMUROSA (Precision medicine for musculoskeletal regeneration, prosthetics, and active ageing) project is part of the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network – European Joint Doctorates programme, funded by the European research and innovation programme Horizon 2020.
The aim of PREMUROSA is to develop in vitro tests and decision support systems (DSS) for precise patient-centered applications of regenerative technologies in musculoskeletal field. The aim is conceptualized by the latin-derived word “premurosa” which means “To take care with care”.
The consortium led by the University of Eastern Piedmont (Alessandria, Novara and Vercelli, Italy) comprises 10 European partner institutions and 6 non-academic partners and companies specialized in the biomedical field.
A total of 13 students from the fields of medical biotechnology, biology, material and chemical engineering are being hosted by a member of a European consortium of universities, research institutions and companies in Italy, Switzerland, Portugal, Finland, Latvia, Ireland and Serbia.
