We offer this space to share the work of all those interested in the topic of geospatial data quality.

We encourage researchers, administrations and companies to share their knowledge here with the intention of expanding theoretical and applied knowledge and promoting synergies and exchanges between all of us.

The Cartographic Engineering Research Group is taking the first steps of this community by sharing all the publications we have made.

 Our curation bases:

 1.       The uploader and authors are solely responsible for the quality, veracity, and content of the resources they share.

2.       The uploader and authors are solely responsible for complying with the access and sharing limitations imposed on the resources they share in this community.

3.       Neither the curators and managers of the community, nor their corresponding institutions, are responsible for the violation of these limitations by the uploaders and authors.

4.       Before any document being deposited in the Geospatial Data Quality Community, all document, datasets and any other research outputs (resources) require validation by Community curators by a legitimacy check based on the presence adequate metadata.

5.       Community curators also verify the metadata accuracy. This process ensures that data are in the appropriate format and supplied with adequate documentation facilitating identification and reuse according to FAIR principles.

6.       3. The format of the data files and associated documentation are revised in a validation process without dealing with the contents.

7.       4. The Community curators can, if necessary: modify and/or complete metadata; contact the submitter to request changes, additions or further information.

8.       5. The Community curators can reject or withdraw, even after publication, a resource if considered not appropriate, for example by copyright or license infringement, exposure of sensitive data, etc.

9.       6. Community curators can also reject datasets when the submitter does not provide the requested information/additions, justifying the reason, to the submitter.
