Besides mandatory as well as vocational trainings on legal and judicial education, Federal Judicial Academy provides a platform for the judicial officers, researchers, academicians, practitioners, court staff and students of law to impart and share knowledge in the form of high quality empirical and theoretical research papers, case studies, literature reviews and book reviews. Federal Law Journal is a high quality open access peer reviewed research journal that is published by Federal Judicial Academy with the aim to disseminate advanced legal knowledge to a wider audience to generate new insights and shed new light on existing laws, different legal issues and legal framework of Pakistan.

Aims & Objectives

Federal Law Journal welcomes and acknowledges high quality theoretical and empirical research papers, case studies, book reviews, conceptual framework, analytical and simulation models, technical notes from researchers, academicians, Judicial officers, practitioners and students in relevant disciplines from all over Pakistan with the following objectives:

 

  • To draw critical opinion and to promote, monitor and publish high quality research in all facets of Law, especially relating to the administration of justice.
  • To provide judicial officers, court staff, researchers, legal academia, practitioners and students of law a forum for constructive conception and expression of ideas over different legal issues.
  • To shed light on the grey areas of law for further reforms and to enhance the quality of justice being administered in courts and relevant departments.
  • To enhance and impart judicial education and to build out research culture through establishing infrastructure, developing advanced skills and knowledge of human capital, and encouraging research that benefits the administration of justice and the community.
