FAAST - Facilitating Autonomy in Astrodynamics for Spacecraft Technology

The project FAAST is meant to develop autonomous guidance algorithms for low-cost interplanetary spacecraft such as CubeSats, to help empower low-cost, high-impact science missions in the inner solar system. The project is conducted in the DART group at Politecnico di Milano in Italy. The primary focus of FAAST is in new mathematical techniques for representing and solving spaceflight-relevant problems (particularly spacecraft guidance) in computationally efficient ways.
