EXPRESS2 addresses the growing demand for a new, more democratic, inclusive and sustainable social contract in the EU from a multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary and cross-cutting perspective. The project is working to create a more attractive and legitimate draft EU social contract that will be presented to citizens, Member States and EU institutions, who will have the opportunity to participate and decide on the conditions, rights and obligations that should be binding.
The aim is to strengthen the EU Association Agreement by promoting social dialogue, civic engagement and integration.
