This EVS33 Zenodo Community serves as the repository of the final, peer-reviewed papers that were to be presented at the 33rd World Electric Symposium and Exposition (EVS33).

The Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA), host and organizer of the event, made the unfortunate but necessary decision to cancel the EVS33, originally scheduled for June 2020 in Portland, Oregon, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

A pillar of the EVS series is a rigorous peer-reviewed papers process that has been helping to grow the world's library of scholarship covering research, market and government activities across all fields of electric drive since 1969. The juried paper process for EVS33 was completed before the unavoidable event cancellation. 

EVS33 organizers recognize the significant contribution of time and expertise by authors and expert reviewers. We believe this work is critically important to the advancement of electric mobility worldwide and should be available to the public.
