Encyclopedia of Translation and Interpreting (ENTI)

Encyclopedia of Translation and Interpreting (ENTI)

ENTI is an open encyclopedia focusing on translation and interpreting studies (TIS), fostered by AIETI. This innovative project is open-access, international, multilingual, multimedia, rigorous, scalable and constantly in-the-making, as explained in detail in our Mission statement.

With some 80 entries and 100 authors, the first ENTI edition was launched in 2022, under the supervision of Javier Franco Aixelá & Ricardo Muñoz Martín, with the collaboration of Carla Botella Tejera as editorial coordinator.

This project has no end date and is rather intended to continue over time, with biennial enlargements geared to provide an ever more comprehensive and topical coverage of the very broad field of TIS.
