The E4Warning Zenodo community adheres to the following curation policy to ensure the quality and relevance of its entries:

  1. Scope and Relevance:

    • Only datasets, publications, software, and models directly related to the E4Warning project are accepted.
    • Submissions must align with the project's goals.
  2. Submission Requirements:

    • All entries must include complete metadata, including a descriptive title, abstract, authors, keywords, and funding information.
    • Datasets should be accompanied by sufficient documentation to enable reuse, including descriptions of data collection methods and processing steps.
  3. Review Process:

    • Submissions are reviewed by the E4Warning data management team to ensure they meet the community's standards.
    • The review includes checks for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to ethical and legal standards.
  4. Data Accessibility:

    • Entries should ideally be open access. If not, a clear explanation for any restrictions or embargoes must be provided.
    • Embargo periods should be specified, and the expected date of open access release must be included.
  5. Licensing:

    • All submissions must include a clear usage license, preferably a Creative Commons license (e.g., CC BY 4.0), to facilitate reuse and sharing.
    • Licenses should reflect the intended level of openness and any usage restrictions.
  6. Updates and Maintenance:

    • Contributors are responsible for maintaining and updating their entries as necessary.
    • Any significant errors identified post-publication should be corrected promptly, with an updated version provided.
