Scope
The DSgG community welcomes digital outputs that relate to data stewardship, with a special emphasis on work within the German context. This includes, but is not limited to: short papers, datasets, software, reports, documentation, presentations, and other related materials. Outputs directly or indirectly connected with the DSgG community are also encouraged.
Accepted content types
We welcome a broad range of outputs, including but not limited to:
Short papers & white papers, datasets & metadata records, software & code repositories, documentation, reports, and policy briefs, presentations, posters, and training materials
Curation process
Community curators review submissions to ensure that each record aligns with the community’s scope and adheres to FAIR principles. Curators may request revisions to metadata before accepting a record into the community. The following aspects will be reviewed.
- Relevance to the topic of data stewardship and/or the DSgG community.
- Appropriateness of metadata (e.g., title, authors & contributors, abstract, keywords), completeness, and clarity for reuse and discoverability.
- Clear licensing (e.g., Creative Commons or Open Source licenses)
- Rich metadata, including ORCIDs, affiliations (ROR), keywords, language, version, and any related identifiers
- Linking to associated identifiers and semantic relations
- Conference metadata
Removal policy
Curators reserve the right to remove previously accepted records from the community if they no longer align with the community’s scope or fail to meet community curation policy requirements.
Note: Removal from the community does not delete the record from Zenodo itself. It simply removes the record from the DSgG community. Links to other communities won´t be affected.
Disclosure
Curation is carried out exclusively at the metadata level and does not concern the content of the submitted documents.

They are particularly responsible for ensuring scientific accuracy, compliance with good scientific practice, respect for copyright and usage rights, and correct attribution of sources and contributions.
