Computer Vision Lab, TU Wien

Computer Vision Lab, TU Wien

The research group is part of the Institute of Visual Computing & Human-Centered Technology, Faculty of Informatics, at the TU Wien, Austria. Our innovative, young lab (founded in May 2010), formerly part of the Pattern Recognition and Image Processing Group (PRIP), is headed by Prof. Robert Sablatnig.

We are devoted to both basic and applied research in the field of Computer Vision or in other words: We are teaching computers to “see”. Computer Vision comprehends the natural world through images, image sequences, and films and reconstructs its properties, such as shape, illumination, and color distributions.
