This community holds CODECHECK certificates as a single PDF file for archival and referencing in related research articles or studies.

Deposits should include a machine-readable version of the certificate, e.g., the source of the PDF in R Markdown format or the word processor file. Deposits can also contain data, code, documentation, and all other related materials for CODECHECK certificates as well as documents related to the project, e.g., documentation or data. These additional documents must be created by the codechecker, or be published with explicit consent by the copyright holder, such as the authors of the checked paper.

• The title of the record must include "CODECHECK Certificate" and the certificate identifier
• The description of the record must include the "summary" of the certificate but may in addition include other/more information, including links to relevant resources and more context
• The license should be a CC-license that is as open as possible, preference: CC-BY;
  If need be, use a generic "Open" license and provide detailed license information for all included parts, such as data or code, in a specific description field.
• The resource type should be Report
• The publisher should be CODECHECK Community on Zenodo
• Please set the language
• Add keywords and subjects as you see fit, e.g., to connect with specific disciplines, tools, or events
• The certificate PDF should be the default preview file
• You may use References if you cite specific material in the certificate, including the checked manuscript (which does not supersede the metadata below)
• There must be a relationship in the metadata between the certificate and the original paper in the metadata section Related works
  • Relation: Reviews
  • Identifier & Scheme (ideally the article's DOI)
  • Resource type: Publication (with clarification as fitting, e.g., Publication / Journal article)
• There must be a relationship in the metadata between the certificate and related code/data repositories in the metadata section Related works
  
  • If you add a link to GitHub, i.e. you add a reference that is non-permanent and identified by a URL, it should be to a code repository in the codecheckers organisation or on GitLab in cdchck
  • Choose a suitable relation, e.g., Is supplemented by or IsDerivedFrom
• Add the certificate identifier as an Alternative identifier, e.g., https://zenodo.org/records/14576035
  • With schema URL using http://cdchck.science/register/certs/<CERT ID>
  • With schema Other using cdchck.science/register/certs/<CERT ID>
