the Gazette is a Japanese band with Visual Kei genre founded in 2002, consisting of 5 members namely Ruki (Vocals), Uruha (Guitar), Aoi (Guitar), Reita (Bass), and Kai (Drums). Their first album was "Cockayne Soup" released in 2002. the Gazette was founded precisely in Kanagawa Prefecture by Ruki, Reita and Uruha, after being involved with other Bands in the visual scene, the trio decided that the Gazette was their last band, they recruited Aoi ( Guitar) and Yune (Drums) from the disbanded band Artia Visual and officially became the Gazette in January 2002.
