ARIADNE Infrastructure

The ARIADNE Community collection will consist of papers, reports and publications that pertain to the research and outputs from the project that are of interest to the wider community. The reports will include deliverables (as required by the European Commission Grant Agreement) which describe the work undertaken as discrete tasks defined by the research programme (i.e. Work Packages which contain Tasks) and the results obtained, papers submitted to scientific and CH journals and to conferences and other significant publications which result from the project.

The original ARIADNE project, an integrating activity funded under FP7, succeeded in integrating 2m archaeological datasets into the ARIADNE Portal. Its successor, ARIADNEplus (2019-2022), is widening the disciplines covered and geographical sources, now covering all Europe, whilst also providing a Virtual Research Environment and additional tools and services for researchers. Furthermore, the current project will continue to build upon developing relationships with key stakeholders such as the most important European archaeological associations, researchers, heritage professionals, national heritage agencies etc.
