Focus and Scope
The journal will cover all medical fields, include but not limited to technical, clinical and bio-engineering studies related to human well being including ethical and social issues. The journal caters to the need for practicing clinicians. Hence, articles with clinical interest and implications will be given preference. Traditionally, articles from social science, epidemiology, psychology, and traditional medicine have found a place in the journal.
Audience:
Our audiences include but not limited to the general practitioners, primary care physicians, surgeons, intensivists, endocrinologists, nephrologists, oncologists, orthopedicians, geriatric specialists, pathologists, microbiologists, radiologists, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, other healthcare professionals.
Review process:
AJMS has a highly rigorous peer-review process that makes sure that manuscripts are scientifically accurate, relevant, novel and important. Authors disclose all conflicts, affiliations and financial associations such that the published content is not biased.
Editorial team:
The editorial board comprises of a panel of experts from various disciplines of medical and allied sciences to provide their expertise and guidance in maintaining the clarity of content and focus of the purpose for the journal.
Editorial Independence:
The AJMS is financially independent journal , funded by private medical sciences donors , it benefits from editorial freedom. The editors evaluate and accept articles based only on significance, originality, validity, and adherence to the aims and scope of the Journal. Our editorial policy is consistent with the principles of editorial independence presented by the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME).
