📦 Data Curation and Release Policy
The 3DRC/DDRC Zenodo Repository is governed by the following curation and data-sharing policies:
1. Scope of Deposited Data
We deposit:

Normalized and annotated single-agent and combination screen outputs

Full dose–response matrices and synergy surfaces (e.g., ZIP, HSA, Loewe)

Batch-level quality control reports (e.g., Z′-scores, CVs, MSR)
-
Instrument-specific raw data upon request (where licensing or privacy permits)
-
Curated cell line and compound metadata with ontology-compliant identifiers
-
Code notebooks and pipelines for select campaigns
We do not deposit:

Proprietary libraries or third-party chemical structures not covered by open-access agreements

Raw patient data or any PHI (Protected Health Information)

Unvetted or unreproducible data from pilot campaigns
2. Curation Standards
Each dataset undergoes:

QC Metrics Review: Minimum Z′ ≥ 0.5, MSR ≤ 3, and replicate CV < 20% are required for inclusion.

Metadata Normalization: Controlled vocabularies for drug name, cell model, assay format, and concentration units

Format Validation: CSV, TSV, or XLSX with schema-conformant headers and README files

Versioning: All updates follow semantic versioning (v1.0.0), with previous releases archived
3. Licensing
Unless otherwise noted, datasets are released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY 4.0) to promote reuse with attribution.
4. Attribution and Acknowledgment
Users of the data are expected to:

Cite the DOI associated with the specific dataset or paper that the dataset was published under

Acknowledge the CPRIT and NIH support that enabled the data, including:
Data were generated by the Drug Discovery Resource Center (DDRC; CPRIT RP250505), with support from the Combinatorial Drug Discovery Program (CDDP; CPRIT RP200668) and the High-Throughput Flow Cytometry Program (HtFCP; CPRIT RP190581).
5. Review and Embargoes

Internal users (e.g., collaborators, CPRIT investigators) may request pre-release embargoes to protect publication timelines.

External data releases are reviewed quarterly by the DDRC Data Oversight Subcommittee.
6. Ethical Compliance
All deposited datasets adhere to TAMU IRB and Biosafety policies. No human subject data is released without de-identification and appropriate review. All chemical and biological materials are handled in accordance with institutional BSL2 containment protocols.
