Description

This dataset can be used as an input for peptide and protein ID workflows. It was originally published in Vaudel et al., 2014, Proteomics (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24678044).

A detailed description of the "qExactive01819" sample can be found on PRIDE (https://www.ebi.ac.uk/pride/archive/projects/PXD000674).

The provided FASTA protein database is the uniprot human reference database with the Crap database added. The second database additionally contains the most common mycoplasma contaminants. Both databases are also available with reversed peptide sequences attached as decoys (tag: "DECOY_"). A detailed description of the provided databases can be found here: https://galaxyproject.github.io/training-material/topics/proteomics/tutorials/database-handling/tutorial.html
