Megalopinus pulcher PUTHZ 1989: 212 figs.
Material: Holotypus (): Peru: Madre di Dios, Rio Tambopata Res., 30 km (air) SW Puerto Maldonado, 12 o 50’S, 6 o 20’W, 290m, 26.-27. II. 1982, N. E. Stork (NHML). 1: Madre de Dios, Cocha Cashi Biological Station, Manu National Park, 11 o 53’45’’S, 71 o 24’24’’W, 350m, ex polypore fleshy, 19. X. 2000, R. Brooks 025 (KSEM). Ecuador: 1: Napo, Yuturi Lodge, Rio Napo, 0 o 32’54’’S, 76 o 2’18’’W, 270m, fungus covered log, 20. III. 1999, R. Brooks 002 (KSEM).
Bemerkungen Die Elytrenzeichnung zeigt Abb. 92, die Zeichnung des 7. Tergits Abb. 161, den Aedoeagus Abb. 177. Die Art ist dem M. elegans (SHARP) sehr ähnlich.
