Diagnosis. Males of M. virescens are recognised by the clearly visible embolus in ventral view and by the long RTA extending beyond cymbial spine base in retrolateral view (Figs 104–108; in all other species embolus seen only in retrolateral view and RTA not reaching beyond cymbial spine base). Females may be identified by the following combination of characters: 1. Epigynal pockets visible in ventral view with posterior margin of MS slightly to distinctly pointed or bulged medially, 2. Anteromedian incision of MS not reaching its centre, 3. Ventroanterior parts of IDS freely visible in dorsal view, i.e. not covered by dorso-anterior part of IDS, and 4. Glandular appendages situated slightly posterior to postero-median windings (Figs 115–128).
