Description
55. Dulichiella fresnelii (Audouin, 1826)
Syn.: Ampithoe fresnellii Audouin, 1826; Gammarus fresnelii Audouin, 1826; Melita fresnelii (Audouin, 1826); Paramoera fresnelii (Audouin, 1826)
Regional records: Kuwait: Myers & Nithyanandan 2016; this study (KISR-FM075C/ Amphipoda /027; Fig. 3K).
Local distribution and occurrence: Kuwait Bay (Ras Ajuza), Ras Al-Zour, Al-Khiran, Al-Nuwaiseeb, Boubyan Island, Failaka Island, Auha Island; occasional (19%).
Habitat: Intertidal and subtidal zones; sand, rocks, shells, mixed rubble, pebble, Sargassum spp. and other macroalgae, tubes of blue coral-worm Spirobranchus sinuspersicus, sponges, hydroids, and ropes.
