Material examined. Tây Ninh (Tân Biên, Tân Bình)— Rattus type IV, Bandicota savilei, Rattus exulans, Maxomys surifer (October 2011, 69 larvae), Bà R ịa-Vũng Tàu (Xuyên Mộc, Hòa Tân)— Rattus norvegicus, Rattus type IV (October 2011, 3 larvae), Bà R ịa-Vũng Tàu (Xuyên Mộc, near Bình Chau—PhƯớc Bửu Nature Reserve)— Berylmys berdmorei, Leopoldamys herberti (= L. revertens) (November 2014, 12 larvae), Lâm Đồng (near Bi-Doup Núi Bà National Park)— Rattus andamanensis (November 2015, 2 larvae), Quảng Bình (Lệ Thủy, Lâm Thǔy)— Chiromyscus langbianis, Tupaia belangeri, Rattus type IV (March 2017, 130 larvae), Nghe An (Hoa Binh, near Pu Mat National Park)— Chiromyscus thomasi Balakirev et al. , Callosciurus inornatus (April 2018, 8 larvae), Tuyen Quang (near Na Hang)— Leopoldamys edwardsi, Neotetracus sinensis (April 2018, 3 larvae), Thừa Thiên-Huḗ (Nam Đông, Khe Tre)— Chiromyscus langbianis (December 2019, 8 larvae), Bà R ịa-Vũng Tàu (Con Son island)— Tupaia belangeri (ZMMU, June 2010, 5 larvae), Kiên Giang (ZMMU, Phu Quoc island, Duong Dong-Bai Thom road)— Rattus tanezumi (November 2003, 4 larvae).

(Audy 1956); Quang Tri (Thoukhe Tri Peak)— Rattus rattus, Bà R ịa-Vũng Tàu (Côn SƠn island, 0.3km W & 1.0km S of Airport, 20 m)— Rattus tanezumi (= R. r. germaini), Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu (Côn SƠn island, Nui Nha Ban, Nui Chua, 300m & 500m)— Niviventer mekongis (= R. niviventer condorensis), Quảng Nam (SƠn Trà peninsula, Hòa Vang)— Tupaia belangeri (= Tupaia glis) (Hadi & Carney 1977); SƠn La, Hà Giang, Thừa Thiên-Huḗ, Phú Yên, Bình Thuận (Sông Trao), Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Đắk Lắk (Buôn Ma Thuột), South Vietnam: Kẻ La (?), Xuân Phú, Kronpa (=Krong Pa) (Chau et al. 2007; Stekolnikov 2021). Hosts with no locality indicated: Gallus gallus dom., Nycticebus coucang (Boddaert), Hylopetes alboniger (Hodgson), Ptaurista elegans (Müller), Mus musculus, Rattus exulans, Rattus tanezumi (= R. flavipectus), Rattus norvegicus, Leopoldamys edwardsi (= R. edwardsi), Rattus andamanensis (= R. koratensis), Rattus nitidus, Niviventer niviventer (= R. niviventer), Niviventer cremoriventer (= Rattus cremoriventer), Rattus pyctoris (= Rattus rattoides) (Chau et al. 2007).
