BUZĂU – BUSOLA ORAŞULUI PROIECT DE BUNĂ PRACTICĂ LA CURBURA CARPAŢILOR

Buzău – City Compas good practice project at the curvature of the Carpaties

Summary: Buzău City Compass is a project to identify, preserve and restore the cultural heritage of the Municipality of Buzău.
The first stage consisted in identifying and documenting a series of 150 objectives that are the 
subject of this program. Then a website was built that hosts all these identified heritage landmarks, 
with descriptions in Romanian, English and French. In addition to written descriptions and photos of 
the landmark, audio guides are also available in the same three languages. The website is published

The website is only half of the project. The other half consists of applying to each of the landmarks a 30×40 cm uv-printed white Plexiglas plate containing the name of the objective, a short 
description and a QR code that, if scanned with a mobile phone, will direct the user to the landmark 
page on the aforementioned website, where you will be able to read or listen to the entire history of 
the objective in three languages.QR technology is combined with green energy and facilitates easy 
access to information, including people with locomotor disabilities and the disabled.
