Automatic data synchronization with repair history records: A Dynamo Revit routine

  • 1. Hanyang University
  • 2. Korea Foundation for the Traditional Architecture and Technology

Description

This dynamo routine (Repair_History_Sync_v01.dyn) synchronizes the past repair history records of a heritage building stored in Excel files with an HBIM (Historic Building Information Modeling) model.

To prepare the repair history records, please refer to the uploaded Repair_History_DB-Sample.xlsx. For the final synchronization, it is necessary to delete the first three rows in the Excel file, as indicated in the uploaded Repair_History_DB-Cleaned-Sample.xlsx.

It's important to note that the fields in each Excel file adhere to the Historic BIM [HBIM] Standard 1.1.3 published by the Korean Cultural Heritage Administration, and the data is in Korean.

We have tested this file on computer with the following specs:

OS: Windows 11 Home
