Close Spots Identification and Bulk Statistics Export

Imaris 9.6+ extensions developed by G. Anderson lab at UC Riverside to identify and export statistics for dendrite-associated Lphn2 puncta.

Spots_CloseToMultiFilaments_Subtypes.m: Detect spots within a user-defined threshold distance of one or more filament objects. For each filament object selected, spots are classified first into close/far categories relative to the filament as a whole, then into dendrite shaft vs. spine-associated categories based on which substructure is closest. Spine-associated spots are additionally classified as terminal-associated if they fall within threshold distance of the spine terminal point. 

Spots_StatsBulkExport.m: Bulk export and collate statistics from one or more spots objects. Statistics are compiled into a single Microsoft Excel workbook (.xlsx) containing one sheet for each spots object exported as well as a summary data sheet containing total spot counts for each object. Can be run on multiple Imaris Scene files at a time.
