REVISITING THE YOUTH SPACE IN YOUTH AND ADULT EDUCATION

This text addresses the theme of the growing youth process in Youth and Adult Education (EJA) and aims to discuss the educational place for young people aged between 15 and 17 who attend this educational modality. With regard to methodological procedures, a qualitative methodological approach was used, based on a bibliographical research with a narrative review of the literature. As results and conclusions, the analysis of the researched material revealed the importance of considering the speech of these young people in facing the pedagogical, social, historical and cultural challenges experienced in EJA, in order to become a significant educational space for adolescents as well.
