Medicinal Plant Diversity and use of Katu People in Central of Vietnam: a Review

Description

Katu people have extensive experience in using medicinal plants due to their habit of living on nature. However, these  knowledge and experiences are at risk of being forgotten because young people prefer using western medicine rather than  inheriting the experience of the previous generations. In this article, some of the key information on Katu’s medicinal  plants is generalized according to statistics on usage, by diseases applied. This article also offer a literature reviewas well  as list the unpublished or unresearched medicinal plants which belong to Katu’s indigenous knowledge.
