Statistical package for estimating uncertainty on phytolith counts using bootstrapping analyses

Description

MATLAB code and associated documentation for analyzing uncertainty in phytolith counts using repetitive bootstrapping. Designed for grouping of morphotypes by functional group codes described by ICPN (ICPT, 2019) and affiliated phytolith researchers (e.g., Stromberg, 2003). Allows for designation of number of bootstrapping iterations, and produces both figures and tables describing mean and standard error statistics on all counted groups. 

Developed based on original conceptual error estimation described in Chen et al. (2015), and applied in earlier versions in Cardenal (2020) and Ghosh et al. (2023).
