A toy inverse model to optimise initial state and flux of Carbonyl Sulfide (COS or OCS)

This is a toy model for educational purpose. It is introduced in the PhD thesis by Jin Ma, for his Doctoral studies on "Investigations of the Global Budget of Carbonyl Sulfide Using Data Assimilation of Surface and Satellite Observations". It gives an example of how to build an inverse model using adjoint approach.
