Contribution of J. Narkiewicz-Jodko in the development of agriculture: based on materials from the press of the late 19th – early 20th centuries

Description

Scientific activity of the outstanding Belarusian scientist J. Narkiewicz-Jodko in the field of agriculture is considered. He conducted experiments on the use of atmospheric electricity to increase the growth of plants. The scientist developed devices that were used in agriculture: a terrahygrometer (lysimeter) for measuring soil temperature at different depths; hail drains to protect crops from thunderstorms and hailstorms.
