A liver digital twin for in silico testing of cellular and intercellular mechanisms in regeneration after drug-induced damage - Simulator

  • 1. IfADo
  • 2. INRIA

Description

This software is a specific version of TISIM (in preparation for licensing and publication) generated to simulate the regeneration of liver after drug-induced injury by acetaminophen (APAP, paracetamol) or CCl4 overdose accompanying the paper: Jieling Zhao, Ahmed Ghallab, Reham Hassan, Steven Dooley, Jan G Hengstler, et al.. A digital twin of liver predicts regeneration after drug-induced damage at the level of cell type orchestration. 2022. ⟨hal-03738207⟩ (provisionally accepted in IScience).

The software has been tested on UBUNTU22 and Windows 11. After unzipping the file, please read the Guidance.pdf - file. The code is delivered as Docker and alternatively can be installed in the traditional way by translation using cMAKE. We suggest to run it on Linux as a typical simulation takes one week or longer.

Condition: The code can be accessed upon request to dirk.drasdo@inria.fr upon signing a non-disclosure agreement. This is envisaged as a transient solution until a final license is granted to the software package that permits access under easier conditions.

Notes

The Digital Twin model encoded by the software is described in: Jieling Zhao, Ahmed Ghallab, Reham Hassan, Steven Dooley, Jan G Hengstler, et al.. A digital twin of liver predicts regeneration after drug-induced damage at the level of cell type orchestration. 2022. ⟨hal-03738207⟩
