Development of Educational Environment

In this globalized world of 21st century, the contribution of education in development of nations has become important. It is almost impossible to think about physical and human development without a sound and quality program of education. It is rightly said that “Good Education Demands Good Teachers.” The goals of education can only be successfully realized if the teachers understand and perform their role in expected manner. It is for this reason, programme of preparation of teachers is considered vital. The developmental process followed so far has no doubt given unimaginable gifts to the human society which has helped in improving the quality of life along with quality of comforts but at the same time, it has created serious challenges not only before the developing nations but before the entire human society also. It is for this reason, scholars and environmentalist’s world over are busy in working out new ways of development. The concept of Sustainable development, it is believed will help in sustaining precious human species on our mother earth. This could be possible only if future generations are imparted in Education for Sustainable development.
