Description

Data used in Pietroiusti et al. 2024 (accepted; https://doi.org/10.5194/egusphere-2023-1827), for the water balance model and analysis. Publicly available netcdf data used in the analysis is not included in this repository, but links to the datasets are detailed in the manuscript.

lakevic-eea-analysis contains:

  1. IOD timeseries from NOAA
  2. gmst-models: GMST time series from ISIMIP3b bias-adjusted CMIP6 data from ISIMIP
  3. gmst-obs: GMST time series from GISTEMP
  4. lakelevels: lake levels from DAHITI and in situ measurements from Vanderkelen et al. 2018, HESS

lakevic-eea-wbm contains:

  1. evap evaporation data from Vanderkelen et al. 2018, originally from Thiery et al. 2015
  2. CN information on soil classes and land cover from Vanderkelen et al. 2018, originally from JRC and Dewitte et al. 2013
  3. shapefiles of basin and lake from Vanderkelen et al. 2018 and Harvard dataverse
  4. outflow which is a combination of data from Vanderkelen et al. 2018 and new in situ data.
  5. output of the water balance model simulations used in the paper.
