ZUR PRODUKTIVITÄT DER SUFFIGIERUNG BEI DER BILDUNG OKKASIONELLER LEXIK IN DER RUMÄNISCHEN SPRACHE

In this article suffixation is investigated as a productive means of forming nonce words in Romanian. A highlight is the discussion of the motivation of nonce words and of the derivational character of these lexical units. Special attention is given to the broad presentation and classification of suffixes by which nonce words are formed, taken from media sources (including online sources), but also from contemporary literary works by Romanian authors.
