Odynerus kauensis Giffard 1916: 225, male, female—“Near Honuapo, Kau, Island of Hawaii, at a low elevation” (Honolulu).— Timberlake, 1922b: 175 (holotype in coll. Hawaiian Entomological Society).— Nishida 1992: 184 (Hawaii); 1994: 173 (Hawaii); 1997: 149 (Hawaii); 2002: 182 (Hawaii).
