Description
These source codes provide the means to calculate and analyze longwave optical properties for both the land surface and bulk vegetation layer. The analysis leads to the development of a new scheme, designed specifically for use in land surface models to derive optical properties. Moreover, the source code enables the evaluation of the land surface emissivity values derived by the new scheme against satellite retrievals
