La Guía Americana de Ejercicio Físico recomienda que los pacientes ancianos (≥ 65 años) participen en ejercicios de equilibrio, fortalecimiento muscular y actividad física aeróbica moderada o vigorosa. Este estudio explora la asociación dosis-respuesta entre el fortalecimiento muscular y todas las causas de mortalidad en pacientes ancianos.


Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans recommends that elderly patients (≥ 65 years) participate in balance exercise, muscle strengthening activity and moderate to vigorous aerobic physical activity. This study explores the dose-response association between muscle strengthening activity and all-cause mortality in elderly patients.
