This Edited book “Recent Research in Agriculture and Plant Sciences” is based on the proceedings of the “2nd Online International Conference on Advance Interdisciplinary Research (ICAIR-2023)”, Jointly Organized by Digvijay Nath Post Graduate College, Gorakhpur, U.P. & Science-Tech Institute run by Manraj Kuwar Singh Educational Society, Lucknow, U.P. during April 07 -09, 2023. The aim of this conference was to bring together the young as well as experienced researchers on one platform to discuss the recent findings in the aforesaid areas of Physical and Chemical Sciences. After peer reviewing process, relevant research papers were finally included in this book as chapters. The present volume is based on the contributions made by various authors on different important topic of “Recent Research in Agriculture and Plant Sciences” and introduces the subject along the following topics: Plant diseases-A major limiting factor in pulse production; Natural Resource Management; Weed Biology and Ecology; Development of Hybrid Time Series Models for Forecasting Total Rice Production in Assam; Common fungal diseases of Millet from all over the world; Awareness and Impact of Air Pollution on Biodiversity: Survey an Approach to Find Solution; Screening of some antipathogenic botanicals in vitro and field conditions against Colletotrichum falcatum causing red rot of sugarcane; Rigidoporus vinctus, an endophytic fungus with antioxidant and antimicrobial properties, from the shoot of Bambusa tulda; Investigation of bioactive molecules of R. communis by Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry; and Phytochemical analysis and evaluation of antioxidant activity in methanolic extracts of Macrotyloma uniflorum (Lam).
