Reasearch project ''Serbian Literature' 1991-2021'': Identity, Trauma, Memory'' (SLITaM)

The literature published in Serbia from 1991 to 2021 has not been the object of systematic research. SLITaM means to provide a new, multidisciplinary framework for studying contemporary literature. By combining the insight of literary criticism, anthropology, political science, psychology, and gender studies, SLITaM will explore how Serbian literature has dealt with the reconfiguration of collective identities after the breakup of Yugoslavia, thereby contributing to the social and cultural history of Serbian literature and culture.
