POSSIBILITIES OF MODERN EQUIPMENT IN ARCHAEOLOGICAL RESEARCH ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE SETTLEMENT OF MIKHAILOVSKY KORDON

Description

At present, due to the development of innovative technologies, archaeological research is becoming more technologically advanced. The use of geodetic methods and technologies makes it possible to improve the process of studying and analyzing archaeological objects, such as ancient cities, fortresses, temples and other structures. Geodesy helps to determine the exact location and size of archaeological sites, as well as their location relative to each other and the environment. The article provides an overview of the use of modern geodetic methods and technologies in the conduct of archaeological work on the example of the settlement "Mikhailovsky cordon".
