Description
There were no physical education classes in schools and madrasas during the colonial period of Tsarism. It is not allowed to do physical exercise, even to play active games. Despite this, the people continued to organize their national games. Wrestling, racing, tumbling, stunts, acrobatics, action games became widespread. The people used wrestling, horse games, fencing, fencing, racing and various action games in their customs and traditions. These events encouraged young people to be strong, to love the country, to acquire a profession and to be brave. Many pedagogic intellectuals who worked in Turkestan, especially Jadids, were incomparable in the implementation of this. In the article, the national folk games, various physical exercises and competitions held in colonial conditions in the history of our homeland, the preservation of competitions among the local people, the relationship of modern representatives to the physical education of the population, especially the young generation, are briefly discussed in the article. raised.
