Description
In order to quantify the growth pattern of tidal flats and its response to future changes in multiple external driver factors, here we established a geometric model, in combination with field surveys, to study the historical behavior (1127-1990) and future trends (1990-2100) of a typical tidal flat system on the Jiangsu coast, eastern China. we conducted multiple field observations on the Dafeng and Wanggang tidal flats within the study area between 2016 and 2023. The profile information was measured using a real-time kinematic continuously operating reference station (RTK-CORS). This dataset is a multi-year topographic variation of two tidal flats, with horizontal and vertical precisions of ±8 mm and ±15 mm, respectively.
