WCRP baseline variable syntax

Description

The syntax used to describe the baseline variables presented in Juckes et al., 2023 (in preparation).

  • Time sampling title: a brief description of the temporal sampling.
  • Spatial sampling title: a brief description of the spatial sampling.
  • Spatial sampling label: a label associated with the spatial dimensions of the variable.
  • Additional Coordinates [optional]: listing of additional spatial and masking coordinates,
  • Time sampling label: a label associated with the temporal dimensions and sampling of the variable.
  • Comment [optional]: additional clarification.
