Recommendations for Teaching STEM Content in Heritage-Related Disciplines: Archaeology

The recommendations are one of the final results of the HERISTEM project (STEM in Heritage Sciences), the joint project of the archaeological departments from the University of Belgrade, University of Ljubljana, University of Zagreb, University of Cambridge, University of Sarajevo, National Museum of Serbia, Institute for the Protection of the Cultural Heritage of Slovenia, Arhej d.o.o., Ljubljana and Kaducej d.o.o., Split. The book is composed of two principal chapters. Chapter 1 resumes the results of the survey STEM education landscape in archaeology (Novaković 2022) which observed more than 160 BA/BSc and MA/MSc archaeological curricula from 78 universities in 28 European countries. Chapter 2 is dedicated to the recommendations propper based on experiences, discussions, comments and proposals of the partners involved in the project.
