DETERMINATION OF THE ANTIMICROBIAL AND ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY OF THE EXTRACTS OBTAINED FROM THE ABOVE-GROUND PART OF THE PLANT CYNARA SCOLYMUS L. GROWING IN THE UZBEKSITON REGION
Description
Extracts obtained from the above-ground part of Cynara scolymus L., a member of the Asteraceae family, obtained using ethyl alcohol and low polar solvents, have an effective effect against gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 and Bacillus subtilis RKMUz-5), gram-negative bacteria. showed. Biological activities against fungi (Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 27879 and Escherichia coli RKMUz-221) and (Candida albicans RKMUz-247) were studied.
